About Me
I am a first year at MIT and intend on majoring in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering. I'm passionate about underwater robotics and supporting women in this field, and I am continuing this passion through research at MIT Sea Grant. In high school, I founded SeaCow Robotics, an all-girls MATE ROV Competition team that has qualified for the World Championships 3 years in a row. This team continues to support women in STEM in my community, and I hope that its presence at championships, community events, and on social media helps to inspire even more. I also worked on a few projects with Georgia Tech during high school, including prototyping enclosures for a fleet of small profiling floats and consulting with the GT Robosub team during their rebuilding year.

Terrascope is the first-year learning community I belong to, and it presents a large problem our team must propose a solution to. This comes in the form of a policy proposal that I presented with a small team of peers in the fall and a design-focused class for a more concrete solution in the spring.Â

This fall, I joined the MIT Ballroom Dance Team, which competes regularly at various collegiate competitions in the northeast. We also host a competition in the spring!
