The SeaPerch kit was my very first underwater robot and started an amazing journey that has led me to meet and work with some of the most amazing people currently in the fields of underwater robotics and inclusivity in STEM. I assembled this kit with my dad during the COVID-19 lockdown (April 2020) and tested it in a bathtub. It was barely functional and filled with mistakes, but I couldn't be happier. This experience lit the fire that has fueled me for years since.
